@nope_its_lily @gakonst came here to say the same. i lived in SF for 12 years, and around the time i left (10 years ago) the cultural life was literally about 1/4 the volume of what it had been in my early days-- venues, artists, and entire scenes were priced out in the span of those 12 yrs.Permalink On twitter.com

@nope_its_lily @gakonst i agree that coming from latin america or greece it's rich to hear the tax-avoiding rich complaining about the mess they've made of the poors' lives, i usually tune out that talk as privileged and whiney. but compare median rent to non-tech SF salaries versus Athens or even LA...On twitter.com
