@mr_ligi @hazae41 and many L2s (and indexers, and RPC providers, and and and) have custom RPC methods and assumptions, which is why THOSE are also coupled to chainid and also overrideable with a separate, optional extension CAIP. these aren't theoretical usecases they're status quoOn twitter.com
