@EdKwangl @metpoliceuk @Frances_Coppola i HAVE seen many reports of tanks firing artillery at hamas, and hostages getting killed in the blast (maybe the subtitles missed a nuance or two, but it seemed to be generals admitting to crossfire casualties). open question is what portion of the 1400 this accounts for

@EdKwangl @metpoliceuk @Frances_Coppola what portion would be acceptable? 5? 50? 100? 400? 700? would it be more acceptable if press flacks weren't citing the 1400 number every single day like a prayer before slaughter? if biden weren't openly questioning palestinean numbers while parroting official israeli ones?

@EdKwangl @metpoliceuk @Frances_Coppola it's real hard to arrive at ground truth when a powerful army is carpetbombing civilians, the UN is afraid to back a ceasefire, and both sides are free to destroy as much evidence as they want. this is why truth and reconciliation committees exist (which require ceasefires)
