@matdryhurst they basically reinvented activitypub (fediverse federation) and are theoretically federable but not federating with anyone yet, because AP doesn't enable by-default global search and that was crucial to the business models their VC want. it's not rocket science...Permalink On twitter.com

@matdryhurst p2p and global scale don't mix, unless what they're really building is a global social graph, which they 100% are (conditions of federating with bsky, unlike those of federating with the fediverse, are that your users are their users, they can search your data, periodt.)Permalink On twitter.com
