@provenauthority Money is how you get people to do what they don't want to do. The more genuine and warm social bonds you have, the less money you need. These are self-evident truisms in most cultures, but the obsessive individualism and transactionalism of US culture makes this controversial.

@provenauthority I hate to admit it but in my experience being good with money seems loosely correlated to being bad at genuine and nontransactional human interactions.
