@evan_greer @json_dirs A theory I've seen bouncing around postcolonial social science is that settler colonies (us, aus, arg, isr) are always more violent and surveillance happy because they always internalize a colonial dynamic of settler/locals onto their populace at time of nationalization.Permalink On twitter.com
