@lamismavacaa i think most pay conversations defer greatly to market rates and uncritically-assumed norms; individual OKRs and individual/private pay convos disincentivize collective success as each individual's northstar. worker-owned coops are really not the worst place to start.

@lamismavacaa paying the "soft skills" and "internal-facing" roles as much as you pay engineers isn't the point; pegging everyone's [equitable] pay to collective performance is the point, including the "founders" and C-level. that last part is quite rare...
