@sall @csuwildcat it's a little reductive to say that number go up is ONLY and DIRECT motivation for NTNFTs, but for better or for worse it limits you to proving your ID at dApps *that interact with that L1*-- if you give your passport to AmEx, you can only show it where AmEx is accepted!On twitter.com

@sall @csuwildcat there isn't a downside at individual scale, necessarily, but big-picture using L1-specific tooling and blockspace for id adds switching costs and inertia to the competition between L1s... turning each L1 into that much more of a walled garden.Permalink On twitter.com
