@docs4theppl @WithoutHisEyes i think you're onto something. "socialize" and "further monetize" should be diametric opposites but with omnipotent insurance companies we get the worst of both-- unaccountable planning committees aren't socialist by definition (or communist) they're just bad planning

@docs4theppl @WithoutHisEyes bottoms-up power should be possible in both capitalist and socialist structures, and top-down kills people whether it's free market, communist, or anywhere in between

@docs4theppl @WithoutHisEyes socialists would argue that bottoms-up and patient-first decision-making is the true definition of "socialization", not top-down decision-making. I'm not sure americans really use "socialize" in its technical sense, partic on the subject of healthcare

@docs4theppl @WithoutHisEyes "socializing" medicine doesn't mean forcing one plan on all; that's just *totalizing* medicine, or bad bureaucracy in general. socializing means the system has serve the whole (no one left out) and governance of it is democratic. that's actually all it means.
