@DrYoFiggy Grad school trains you to larp ("fake it til you make it") and chase clout at all costs, some just take it too literally and larp themselves right into the dolezal zone. I wanna believe it's a spiritual disease or an epistemic cry for help, but i know its just careerism run amok.
