@peterbihr There used to be a circulating library for art (including not just aisle paintings but beuys and weird concept art!) in Köln called the Kunstothek where people paid a monthly membership and shared artworks on a rotating basis.Permalink On twitter.com

@peterbihr But yeah, the closer you get to the lofty, thin air of the museum-adjacent gallery class, the bigger secondary sales and trades are as a portion of revenue. Fancy galleries sell surprisingly little of what they show each year during the year.On twitter.com
