    @ykomska (the 18th century i mean, not the century dumplings became vareniki). Fun fact, in Argentina, no one knows what Pieroggis are, because everyone calls them Vareniki, even though Poles outnumbers Ukranians, Russians, and Lithuanians during the period of peak immigration.
