@Asher_Wolf Correction: they weren't called cryptoparties then. I don't remember knowing or even hearing the term "cypherpunk". They had more innocuous-sounding names like "computer privacy community workshop". Post-Hackers (1995), people tried to be chill and accessible to broader publics!Permalink On twitter.com
